26.2 Degrees of Keven Bacon

When I think or rare disorders one thing that pops in my head is Kevin Bacon.  It’s an odd thought, but if you’ve heard of him, then you’ve probably heard of the game “6 degrees of Keven Bacon.”  If you haven’t heard of this game the gist of it is, think of any actor to see how closely they link with Mr. Bacon.   And this is how I think about rare disorders.  They’re rare but I bet you know someone with one…and if you don’t, you definitely know someone who knows someone with a rare disorder.

26.2

So now that, that’s out of the way, on to my picture above.  In a few short weeks, I will be running 26.2 miles. I am running for those with rare and undiagnosed disorders.  If you know someone…or know someone that knows someone with a rare or undiagnosed disorder,  that you would like to me to run in honor of, make a donation and I will run a mile….or .2 for them.  At the race i will have a 26 tattoos of on my arm (don’t worry it’s only temporary), and let’s not forget about that .2   So there are 26.2 slots available.

Thank you so much, to all who have donated… and my future donators 🙂
